I grew up in Ontario and started playing volleyball at a young age, quickly falling in love with the sport. Playing in the OVA for Georgetown Impact and then Burlington Blaze solidified that volleyball would be a huge sport focus for me. I then continued my volleyball career at the University of Waterloo as a left side hitter. It wasn’t always easy, I dealt with my share of injuries in the 4 years there, but this taught me hard work and perseverance. I capped off my final year earning the MVP title for the Warriors as captain of my team.
Now out in BC, I have been a coach in the Sea to Sky for the last 5 years coaching for the North shore Stars, and now going into my 3rd year with SVC. On the court I value hard work and determination. I always encourage players to hit their highest potential while never losing sight of the most important thing - the love of the game. Off the court you can find me in the mountains snowboarding (always Whistler on a pow day!) mountain biking and spending time with friends and family. This year I am excited to take on a new group of U17 female athletes in the Sea to Sky!

As a former club player in the 90s, having the privilege of coaching this group of young women is something that I am most appreciative of.
The players allow me to share my love for the game of volleyball and my passion for supporting their growth leaders on and off the court. I’ve been an assistant coach with SVC for the past 4 years, and continue to find success in focusing on skill & team development while honouring the growth and development of players.
I love watching players have breakthrough moments on the court while building bonds that endure long after the final whistle.

I started playing volleyball in grade 7. By Grade 8, I was playing Club Volleyball and a lifelong passion had begun, playing Club in Calgary and playing provincial teams every summer.
I was a power hitter until grade 10 and slowly was turned into a setter at the request of the University of Calgary coach. That was a position that I grew to love more than anything. I played at the University of Calgary for 4 years where we won Nationals in 1994. I then went on to play volleyball in Switzerland for 2 years and run coaching clinics on setting throughout the country. When I returned to Canada, I coached in Powell River for 3 years, played for the Whistler extreme team and now I coach SVC. I love the sport so much and want to pass on whatever I can to make players the best that they can be.
