Club Tryout Overview
All athletes must register ahead of time for our club tryouts. No walk-ins will be permitted to try out.
Athletes should attend the tryout for their appropriate age group. Attendance at tryouts is mandatory in order to be selected as a player for our club. Athletes must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to tryouts to complete the registration process. We will take photos of all athletes at this time for management purposes. After the tryouts, final decisions regarding team selection will take place.
Tryout dates for 2025-2026 season:
- U14 - Nov 18 & Nov 20 - 8-10pm at Howe Secondary

We are asking athletes to attend only one try-out. Deciding on which try-out to attend does not limit your options as to what team you will make. Coaches are aware of where athletes live and who is eligible for which team(s). At the try-out, there will be an opportunity to express your first and second choice. Our goal is to get as many of you playing on a team as possible.
Club Offer Deadlines
Clubs offer positions on the team through a formal process. Based on tryouts, offers will be sent to players. The player has a time limit on making a decision on whether to accept or decline the offer. (This gives players time to consider competing offers from other clubs.)
Athletes can formally accept a position with the club on or before the Offer Signing Date.

We operate in the Sea to Sky Corridor and aim to provide an outlet for fun physical, social, and athletic activity for youth through their passion for volleyball. Our vision is for every athlete to enjoy opportunities to play volleyball and strive towards excellence as a team member and player, all while growing their love for the sport.
The club volleyball season runs from January to the beginning of May, and includes a number of weekend tournaments (including Provincial Championships, and optionally National Championships). Teams from across the Province compete in local and regional tournaments, culminating in Provincial Championships at the end of April. In some years, teams may optionally participate in the National Championships. These are typically held in early May.
Club fees include:
- All tournament entry fees (excluding Nationals)
- Uniform, warm-up shirt, backpack
- Gym rentals and equipment
- Administration fees (accounting, legal fees, honorariums)
- Costs for volunteer coaches (education, criminal record checks, expense reimbursements)Teams are encouraged to participate in fundraising efforts to help reduce costs.
- All athletes that participate on a club team are required to sign a Family and Athlete Agreement with the club.
- Club fees in the 2024-2025 year were approximately $1,500.00 for the season
- Club fees were supplemented by fundraising at the team level which offset costs for provincials
